Terms of service
Zhunt terms of service
These terms are between you and Kindred Wildcat, a business based in the United Kingdom ([registered postal address]) ("we"). Contact: kwokwingfoods@gmail.com.
1. The software
Zhunt is open-source software under the MIT licence (the LICENSE file in its repository). You can use the free version without an account or payment. These terms add the conditions for the paid Pro subscription and our website.
2. Pro subscription
- Price: $7 per month, plus any applicable tax shown at checkout, after a 7-day free trial. A payment method is required to start the trial; you are not charged during it.
- Renewal: unless cancelled, the subscription renews monthly at the price shown at checkout until you cancel.
- Cancelling: cancel any time from the billing portal link in your Stripe receipt, or by emailing us, before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Pro keeps working to the end of the period you paid for; the free version keeps working after that.
- Refunds: the free trial is there to try Pro first, so we do not refund the rest of a month after you cancel. If you are charged by mistake, or charged after cancelling, email us and we will refund it. Nothing here affects your statutory rights.
- Starting straight away: Pro is a digital service that starts as soon as you subscribe. By starting your trial you ask us to begin at once, and you agree that you lose the 14-day right to cancel for a refund once a paid period has started. You can still cancel at any time to stop future charges.
- Price changes: we will email you at least 30 days before a price change takes effect; you can cancel before then.
3. Licence keys
Your licence key is for you (one person, on the computers you use). Do not share or publish it. We may revoke and replace keys that are shared publicly. Keys expire with your paid period and are renewed while your subscription is active.
4. AI providers and your keys
Zhunt sends your requests to third-party AI providers using your own API keys. Your use of each provider is governed by that provider's terms, including its rules on free tiers, rate limits and acceptable use. Do not use Zhunt to breach them (for example by pooling several accounts for one free tier). Premium model usage is billed to you by the provider; Zhunt's monthly cap is a tool to limit that spend, not a guarantee, because provider prices and token counts can differ slightly from Zhunt's estimates.
5. No warranty
Zhunt is provided "as is". AI models can be wrong; check important answers. Free tiers change and can stop working at any time. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability for Pro is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Zhunt or our website to break the law, attack our services, or resell access to free-tier models.
7. Changes and law
We may update these terms and will post the new version with its date; material changes are emailed to subscribers. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear disputes. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
